This year’s theme was - Congratulations to the following LHS student athletes who were selected All-League in the PVIAC (Pioneer Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference) for the 2017 fall season.
All league selections are voted on by coaches in their respective leagues. and Isaiah Gutierrez, who were recently recognized as November students of the month at the Lower Pioneer Valley Career and Technical Education Center Program (CTEC).
Breslin began the sign while enrolled in the LHS shop class.
Although very enthusiastic about completing the project, he ran into an unexpected roadblock when the shop teacher retired, and the class ended.
Matt Lussier (LHS) was awarded 1st place for his Voice of Democracy audio essay and Luke Page (BMS) was awarded 1st place for his Patriot's Pen essay.

As a culmination of a science unit on processes that shape the Earth's surface, guest speaker, Christine Simard, shared her knowledge and expertise with Lisa Teixeira's 4th grade student scientists, including her son, Noah!
Simard shared an educational Powerpoint presentation that detailed volcanoes and much to the delight of students she also shared her exhibit of volcanic rocks for students to explore. Preschool classes at East Street School joined one another for a reenactment of the first Thanksgiving.
Third grade students in Michele Manganaro-Thompson’s class are learning about responsibility and how working cooperatively can help keep the classroom running smoothly, by being assigned classroom jobs.
